Things to KNOW Before You GO (Campaign planning)

[ ] IN-DATE PASSPORT
1. At least six months past campaign/visit ENDING dates.
2. Renewing or ordering a new Passport: To begin the process and get current prices, contact your local U.S. Post Office or the
U.S. Passport agency for current processing times.

SHOTS
[ ] Hepatitis A & B Vaccinations are standard. See your local Health Department for more info on these.
[ ] Tetanus up-to-date. See your doctor or local Health Department for more info.

TEAM APPLICATION (REQUIRED FOR EVERY MEMBER)
[ ] Campaign Application to Latin American Missions office 90 days before the campaign dates. (Go to
LAM web pages or here and click "Registration Form"  for downloadable copies.)

VERY IMPORTANT: Airline Security Rules for baggage weight and size often change! Check with the TSA before you begin packing, purchase liquid items, etc. This could save you time, trouble and money.

GENERIC PACKING CHECK LIST

[ ] Bible

[ ] Personal medications

[ ] Imodium (or similar diarrhea med.) - Don’t leave home without it!

[ ] Sun block/ lip sun block

[ ] Dramamine (only needed if you get motion sickness)

[ ] Watch

[ ] Personal grooming/ toiletry items

[ ] Note book (small) and pen

[ ] Pair of flip flops or shower shoes

[ ] Flashlight (extra batteries)

[ ] Sun screen and hat

[ ] One/two rolls of travel toilet paper

[ ] Camera and batteries

[ ] Wash cloth. (hotels usually won’t have them)

[ ] 1-2 bandannas or handkerchiefs

[ ] Extra spending money

All teams have specific packing lists due to location and type, but this will get you started!
