"As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him." - Psalm 18:30

Teaching in EBA Columbia - April, 2010

Teaching I & II Samuel in EBA (Escuela Biblica de las Americas) Colombia. April 13-20, 2010

The Bible School of the Americas (EBA), Medellin, Colombia campus started in 2001. Presently the teachers are Gusatvo Vásquez and Fernando Ospina (photo below). The are holding "Lucas" (Luke) the latest translation of the Gospel Advocate commentary done by LAM staff member, Lionel Cortez.

I left Nicaragua after the campaign in Managua and went to Colombia. The primary reason I went was to teach I & II Samuel. We started on Wednesday morning and finished on Monday (skipping Sunday). The class required five days, four exams, four sermon outlines, an outline covering both books, twenty memory verses, and complete class notes. There were five students, four of which are enrolled and one brother who simply wanted to study.

While there I visited two congregations and preached in one. We toured the city of Medellin and gave out tracts. Brother Fernando talked with people about Jesus everywhere we went! (See photo below). The Colombian Christians are so interested in pleasing God. It was a pleasure to be with them!
